See Write Create!

Hey.

My name’s Ariyana and welcome to my world. Ahead of you lie stories filled with mystery, suspense and action . I’ve drawn the pictures (as best as I can), now it’s down to you to tell the tale!

Each story has twelve windows. You could just write one sentence for each one, but don’t be afraid to write more, especially what can’t be seen. Make sure you have someone to share ideas with to help build exciting, interesting stories!

There’s LOTS of help as you go, such as three vocab suggestions for each panel, and ‘Writing: Next Steps…’ if you want to take your stories to the next level. If you need one, there’s an example story to help show you the way.

Make sure you've looked at the whole story before you start; it also helps to have someone to read aloud to expressively when you are done (this really helps you choose your punctuation).

As much as you can, think about how you feel as you look at the pictures, and try to make your reader feel the same way!

Once you’ve had a go at my stories, it’s YOUR TURN! Here, there's a planning guide, story starters and even more inspiration. Can you come up with a mystery, suspense or action story of your very own?

Good luck!

Ariyana
